My dearest friend across da pond, has done an unimaginable deed of kindness for me. A bunch of us were going to meet in Helsinki this summer, and many of have never met face-to-face. Because of my recently precarious job situation, I told her I wasn't going to be able to go. She decided to help me by setting up a donation page. As of this post, $260 has been raised, with the goal being $550. I am fairly certain I then can match that amount so I have enough for airfare. Other people have been very kind in their donations, and still another offered me a room to stay. I can't tell you how grateful and humbled I am to know there truly are some really wonderful people out there. I'm not going to beg, but I'm not going to refuse. I have decided to do something rather radical. I will draw, ink, use charcoal, Photoshop or paint any subject (tastefully and within reason) for a donation!
